Community Spotlight & Submission Guide

By Simon Lagann March 7, 2026

How to share your work with Osaze (and get the right kind of attention)

Osaze only works if the community shows up in it. Community Spotlight is how we surface that: real brands, real work, real events, and real people doing the kind of thoughtful marketing and branding our studio cares about. This guide explains how to share your work with us, where it might appear (Spotlight, Spotlight Wall, Seasonal Magazine, etc.), and how to use social and member forms so your submissions land in the right place.

1. Where your story can show up

There are a few main places community content lives in the Osaze universe:

  • Osaze Spotlight
The main content hub. Longer stories, features, highlights, and educational pieces that mix studio and community work.
  • Spotlight Wall
A visual gallery of photos from brands, events, studio moments, and other snapshots connected to Osaze. Think “photo wall,” not a long article.
  • Osaze Seasonal Magazine
A curated, seasonal release that pulls together studio updates, community stories, and features in one place.
  • Directory
A living list of clients, partners, and organizations connected to Osaze who care about strong brand and online presence.

Your story or brand might show up in one or several of these based on what you submit and what we are building that season.

2. Ways to get on our radar

There are three main paths:

  1. Social media mentions and tags
  2. Member submission forms
  3. Direct outreach when you have something specific

We pay attention to all three, but the more intention and context you give us, the easier it is to feature you.

3. Using social the right way

Social is the quickest way to put yourself in front of Osaze and the community.

Where to tag us

  • Instagram / TikTok / Twitter (X):  @osazedotcom
  • Hashtag:  #osazemarketing

When to tag or hashtag

Use  @osazedotcom  and  #osazemarketing  when you:

  • Launch something new (brand, site, campaign, event, visual series)
  • Share a story or behind-the-scenes moment that reflects how you show up online
  • Talk about something Osaze made with you (credit is always appreciated, and we’ll do the same)

What we look for in social posts

  • Clear visuals (photos, screenshots, or short video)
  • One or two sentences of context (what this is and why it matters)
  • A tone that matches how you want your brand to show up (no need to copy ours)

Tagging does not guarantee a re-share or feature, but it helps us see you, understand what you are doing, and consider where you might fit.

4. Member forms: the best way to submit something specific

If you are a member, the forms on the site are usually the strongest way to share something with Osaze.

Common forms you can use:

  • Submit Event – for events, launches, workshops, or gatherings you want listed or highlighted
  • Request Ad – for placements or promotions you would like considered in Osaze spaces
  • Submit Blog Post – for written stories, reflections, guides, or updates you want to propose for Osaze Spotlight
  • Featured Brands / Featured Logos – for visual brand features (logos, brand stories, before/after)

Each form gives us structure: who you are, what you are submitting, where it belongs, and how we can follow up.

Tips for using member forms well

  • Be specific in your description (who it is for, what it is, what outcome you hope for)
  • Add links and visuals if the form allows
  • Tell us if there is a time‑sensitive element (launch dates, event dates, campaign timelines)
  • Use your member account email so we can connect submissions to your profile

5. What makes a strong Spotlight or Magazine feature

Not every submission turns into a full feature, and that is okay. When we do zoom in on something for Osaze Spotlight or the Seasonal Magazine, we are usually looking for:

  • A clear, honest story (why this exists, what changed, what you learned)
  • Brand and web moments that illustrate your growth or decisions
  • Community impact or connection (who this helped, how it showed up in real life)
  • Visuals that help people see what you are talking about (screens, photos, simple diagrams)

You do not need to write a perfect article. A good submission can be:

  • A short narrative in your own words
  • A brief Q&A you answer in the “Submit Blog Post” form
  • A set of key points we can expand on with you later

If we are interested in turning it into a full feature, we will reach out for more detail or a short follow‑up call.

6. What makes good Spotlight Wall content

The Spotlight Wall is more straightforward. It is a photo wall, but we still want it to tell a story.

Good candidates:

  • Clear photos from events, launches, or sessions where your brand shows up
  • Screens or photos of a brand or website we worked on together in the wild
  • Candid but thoughtful images that reflect your work or community in action

Send or tag:

  • 1–3 of your best shots (not 30)
  • A line or two of context (what this is, who is in it, where it happened)

We want visitors to be able to scroll the Wall and get a feel for who is here and how you show up, without needing a long caption for every image.

7. How to reach out directly

If you are not sure which form to use, or the thing you want to share does not fit a form, you can reach out directly:

  • Use Ask Osaze if your question is more “how do I do this?” than “please feature this.”
  • Use the Contact form if you are proposing a larger collaboration, partnership, or recurring feature.
  • Mention “Community Spotlight” or “Feature idea” in your message so we know how to route it.

In your message, tell us:

  • Who you are and how you are connected to Osaze (member, client, collaborator, etc.)
  • What you want to share and why it might matter to the community
  • Anything we should know about timing or context

8. What to expect after you submit

We cannot feature everything, but we do pay attention.

In general:

  • We review submissions and tags on a rolling basis.
  • If we are interested in featuring you in Spotlight or the Magazine, we will reach out for more info.
  • Spotlight Wall and social re‑shares are quicker, lighter‑weight opportunities and may happen without a long back‑and‑forth.
  • If we are not able to use a submission now, it may still inform future themes or issues.

9. How to make the most of being featured

If you do get featured:

  • Share the link or image with your own audience
  • Add it to your website, social, or media kit as appropriate
  • Tag  @osazedotcom  and use  #osazemarketing  when you talk about it
  • Let us know if something in the piece needs to be updated over time (major changes, outdated references, etc.)

Being featured is not a one‑time trophy. It is another way for you to explain who you are, how you work, and the story you are building with your brand.

If you are ready to get started, the quickest next step is to log in as a member, look at the forms available to you, and think about which opportunity fits best:

  • photo for the Spotlight Wall,
  • story for Osaze Spotlight or the Seasonal Magazine,
  • or an event / release that should be on the community’s radar.

And if you are still not sure, tag us at  @osazedotcom  with  #osazemarketing , and tell us what you are working on. That is always a good way to say hello.
